Prayer

In our Corps we recognise that prayer must be central to all we do and for this reason it has a very high focus. Below are just a few of the things that are going on.

Half-Nights of prayer to be held quarterly, 6pm-Midnight.

Prayer Group - We meet every 2 weeks on a Monday evening in the homes of those who attend Prayer Group and it is open to everyone.

Ecumenical Prayer and Praise - on the first Monday of every month we join with the other churches for this meeting. These are hosted by different churches and have been so encouraging in this year of HOPE.

Prayer Meeting – We meet to pray at our Hall every Saturday morning between 8 and 9am. Again anyone is welcome.

Prayer Room - This room in our Hall is a much used space. The prayer focus is changed every month and there are many aids to help with praying and meditation. We use this room for private prayer and meditation, prayer meetings and prayer ministry which is always available for anyone who requires this.

Prayer Boards for Prayer Requests and Answers – These can be found on the wall in our Hall. This is where anyone can write out and pin up prayer requests and where we add e mails requesting prayer. Many in our fellowship will make a note of these requests and continue to pray throughout the week. It is good to see how God answers these prayers and we encourage people to add updaters and answers.

Prayer Request book - This is kept near the entrance door of our Hall and people also put names of those needing prayer in this book.

Prayer Circle - This is something which is in frequent use. This group of people are willing to pray when requested for any immediate situation. This responsibility for urgent prayer is not taken lightly and we have had evidence of amazing answers to prayer.

We would be very pleased to receive a prayer request from you or have you join in any of our prayer activities and would be more than happy to give you further details. We really believe that prayer makes a difference and know that we serve an amazing God who is always ready to listen to us.

We would encourage you to make contact by sending a message to Capts Kevin and Pam by e mail:
