Focus on Dennis Austin

Dennis is a dear friend of the Northampton East Corps fellowship and worships regularly with us on a Sunday.

Several years ago friends serving as volunteer reinforcement staff at the Salvation Army's Tshelanyemba Hospital, Zimbabwe asked Dennis if he would like to spend Christmas with them.

After prayerful consideration he decided that he would visit the Hospital and enjoyed it so much that he has been back on a number of occasions since.

On these visits Dennis will provide administrative support, although he has been known to turn his hand to almost anything! These visits allow the staff some 'breathing space' as they generally are on call 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

Dennis has provided some photographs from his last visit to help understand a little of the work that happens at the Hospital.
